I enjoyed the issue, if only for the simulation of the Blockbuster spectacle. The Ultimates are truly turning out to be the worst trainers in the world when it comes to young superheros; they seem to work on the mentality that you either "have it" or you "don't" and leave you to your own devices; it makes me wonder why they were so invested in training Parker in the first place unless it was all about controlling superheroes under one government banner. I listened to one interesting podcast that interpreted that Drew's less than flattering behavior towards Miles was Bendis' way of referencing the hardcore Parker fans who are still sore over his death and Miles' position as the new Spider-Man and it certainly is an interesting angle to look at her discomfort with Miles, but I hope it elevates itself above something that petty as "dislike for dislike's sake" (I wanna see their relationship go somewhere soon).
The situation with Jefferson Davis and Hydra hints an interesting subplot that could definitely work to the advantage of the Morales family and Miles himself as a character; I look forward to seeing where it goes.
